| Bemerkung: | Afra Newsletter, Report and Factsheet, all published by the Association for Rural Advancement, present case studies of families personally affected by the forced removals and "black spot" removal policy of the National Government. Statistics are given for the number of evictions and threatened evictions in the affected areas mainly in the Natal provincial region (as it was known then). These figures include farm workers and labour tenants who were forcibly removed from white-owned farms with the support of Government legislation. |
