It is important chiefly for research on early economic, political, and social history. The site draws on collections of the Goldsmiths' Library of Economic Literature at the University of London and on the Kress Library of Business and Economics of Harvard University's Graduate School of Business Administration. The Making of the Modern World grants full-text access to more than 61,000 books that appeared between 1460 and 1850 as well as 466 series and individual journals predating 1906-nearly 12 million pages in all. The site focuses on economic activity in the broadest sense, including political science, history, sociology, and additional other special collections on transport, banking and finance, and the crafts. -

It supports economic research and makes its findings available to policy makers, business leaders and the academic community. It publishes about 700 titles per year, many of which are later published in renowned journals. Full-text access is available to the NBER Working Papers from 1.1973 onwards and to the series that have been published in them: NBER Working Paper Series on Historical Factors in Long Run Growth (1.1989 - 137.2001) NBER Technical Working Papers (1.1979 - 345.2007). Not available the current 3 years (moving wall). -

It offers statistics on more than 60,000 topics from over 18,000 sources across 20 categories of economic activity ranging from farming to administration and social affairs. The key content of this site consists of data that is relevant to decision-making yet both difficult to ferret out and complicated to analyze and interpret. They are drawn mostly from studies and results of current market research. The source, date of publication, number of persons surveyed, and other available metadata on each statistic are published, so the figures can be checked on Statista. Analyses and interpretations of data sets are based on scientific criteria. Note: The language selection not only changes the language, but also changes the content. In the selection "German", the focus is on Germany, Austria and Switzerland, with the selection "English" the focus is on USA, China, UK, Europe. The selection "French" and "Spanish" refers to the respective country. -

Thanks to the full-text search and classification of each article, each issue can be searched through by keywords in the title or article text, author and subject categories. Afterwards, the article can be viewed completely and quickly on the screen as a full text or the whole page on which a requested article appears. In addition, it is possible to watch a certain issue of the newspaper from a particular day and "leaf through" it. -

The publications come from U.S. congressional committees and working groups and from other government authorities. The database thus offers an abundance of material on all areas of U.S. history, policy, economy, and culture. In many cases the scope broadens if relations with the United States are involved. -

Research area: Economics Language: English Period: 1960 - The wiiw Annual Database contains more than 26,000 time series of key economic indicators for 22 Central, East and Southeast European countries (CESEE). Included are indicators on population, national accounts, investment, production, labour market, wages, prices, domestic finance, foreign finance and foreign trade. Time series are updated and revised as soon as the original statistical sources become available. Footnotes describe breaks and deviations from standard definitions. The database is based upon data from the national statistical offices, central banks and Eurostat as well as wiiw estimates and forecasts. -
