Research area: General / Interdisciplinary Language: German Period: 1998 - ELFI is the electronic information brokerage system that centrally supplies institutions of higher education throughout the German-speaking area with current details on opportunities to acquire research funding. It contains information on the modalities of acquiring funds (e.g., support programs, prices, fellowships, and the financing of material and travel costs) as well as details about 3,700 national and international funding institutions and about more than 8,000 research funding programs (link to the original source of information, leaflets, and forms can be downloaded directly). Each funding possibility is accompanied by a abstracts, addresses, contact persons, submission deadlines, and amount of funding. Users may call retrieve on more than 256 research disciplines and 35 interdisciplinary themes. The initial use of the database requires registration, to which one proceeds by clicking on the link "Einstieg in die Recherche." The information pages and certain services on offer are available even without registration. -

The decisions of the Supreme Court of the German Reich in Criminal Cases (RGSt) encompasses the period from 1880 through 1944. This latter collection consists of 77 volumes (about 39,000 pages). -

Jacobs is the world's largest full-text database on the history of women and of feminism. It consists of books, periodicals and pamphlets, reflecting the development of feminist consciousness and the women's rights movement. Covering four centuries it is much more far-reaching than the existing national licenses. Research area: Law Language: German In a joint project with juris GmbH, the German Federal Ministry of Justice provides interested citizens free Internet access to nearly the entire body of Germany's current federal law. The current version of the laws and statutory regulations can be retrieved. They are continuously consolidated by the ministry's documentation service. All new provisions promulgated in the Federal Law Gazette Part I and not yet processed by the documentation service can be retrieved directly from the Legal Update Service. Enclosures, graphics, and other still missing parts of the laws and statutory regulations are being successively added. -

About 3,000 documents are offered as image files and made available by means of full-text search. The data come mainly from the Vienna Library in London and from the National Archives of the United Kingdom. It draws on material from the General Correspondence of the Foreign Office, the Control Office for Germany and Austria, and the Control Commission for Germany. The scholarship in this project is supervised by Dan Stone (Royal Holloway College, University of London), who composed the introductory essay. -

It offers statistics on more than 60,000 topics from over 18,000 sources across 20 categories of economic activity ranging from farming to administration and social affairs. The key content of this site consists of data that is relevant to decision-making yet both difficult to ferret out and complicated to analyze and interpret. They are drawn mostly from studies and results of current market research. The source, date of publication, number of persons surveyed, and other available metadata on each statistic are published, so the figures can be checked on Statista. Analyses and interpretations of data sets are based on scientific criteria. Note: The language selection not only changes the language, but also changes the content. In the selection "German", the focus is on Germany, Austria and Switzerland, with the selection "English" the focus is on USA, China, UK, Europe. It offers access to personal testimony of life in national socialism, which gives insights into the internal politics of National Socialist Germany, the Jewish life in Germany from 1933 to post-war period, life in concentration camps, in underground and in exile. All sources can be searched in the full text. The majority of the documents are in German. -
