Research area: Sociology Language: German Das Portal richtet sich an Wissenschaftlerinnen und Wissenschaftler der Soziologie bzw. Sozialwissenschaften. Im Fokus des durch die DFG geförderten FID Soziologie steht die Verbesserung der wissenschaftlichen Informationsversorgung sowie die Förderung der Forschungskommunikation innerhalb der Soziologie. Die Portalplattform beinhaltet drei zentrale Bausteine (Recherchemodul, Kollaborationsportal und Open Access Komponente) und dient als zentraler Einstiegspunkt für die Informationsversorgung der soziologischen Forschung. SocioHub steht allen fachlich Interessierten zur Verfügung und bietet für registrierte Nutzerinnen und Nutzer zusätzliche Funktionalitäten wie z. B. die Erstellung eigener Profile an, die über die reine Recherche hinausgehen. Innerhalb der Literaturrecherche sind in der Soziologie etablierte Rechercheelemente, u. a. Social Science Open Access Repository (SSOAR) oder SocINDEX, eingebunden und mit einem Dokumentlieferservice (Subito) angereichert. Der Schwerpunkt liegt nicht auf dem Erwerb, sondern auf der Open Access-Bereitstellung fachspezifischer Volltexte insbesondere hochspezieller Literatur zur Ergänzung des lokalen Grundbedarfs. Zielsetzung ist es, einen standortunabhängigen, schnellen und direkten Zugriff auf Literatur und forschungsrelevante Informationen zu ermöglichen. -
