The database contains digitized eighteenth- and nineteenth-century English newspapers and pamphlets (totaling 1,270 titles) from the collection of Reverend Charles Burney (1757-1817). The documents include parliamentary publications and daily news from London, the British empire, neighboring countries, and their royal houses or governments.

The data refer to the journals evaluated in the databases JCR Science Edition or JCR Social Sciences Edition. The online access is divided into: JCR Science Edition (approx. 8000 journals evaluated) JCR Social Sciences Edition (approx. 2600 journals evaluated) The JCR can be used to answer the following questions: How often has a particular journal been cited?
