By which journals was a journal cited? How soon and how long after its publication was a magazine cited? What other journals were cited by a particular journal? The data provide annual informational indicators such as citation rate, impact factor, Immediacy Index (how many times an article is cited on average in the same year) and Cited Half-Life (the half-life of individual journals). In addition, the JCRs provide information on which other journals are cited by a particular journal. The Journal Impact Factor indicates the average citation rate of a journal's articles in a given year. The Journal Impact Factor refers to the entire journal; it is not representative of individual articles or their authors Indicator for the "relative importance" of a journal within a subject area. -
