Future of Democracy Conference

1st-Annual Interdisciplinary WZB Conference (9-10 October 2025): "The Future of Democracy"

The Berlin Social Science Center (WZB) is hosting a larger interdisciplinary conference on the Future of Democracy in October 2025. Conference organizers are Nicola Fuchs-Schündeln (https://www.wzb.eu/en/persons/nicola-fuchs-schundeln ), Daniel Ziblatt (https://scholar.harvard.edu/dziblatt/home), and Michael Zürn (https://www.wzb.eu/en/persons/michael-zurn ).

Confirmed keynote speakers are: Chris Bail (Duke), Tim Besley (LSE) and Catherine de Vries (Bocconi).

The scientific part will be accompanied by a panel with high-ranking representatives from politics and civil society, as well as a concluding panel (confirmed attendance by Pratap Mehta, Princeton). We now would like to invite submissions from interested researchers of all social science disciplines.
