Jaap van Slageren

Jaap van Slageren is a visiting researcher at the "Skill Formation and Labor Markets" department. He is a fourth-year PhD candidate at the Copernicus Institute of Sustainable Development at Utrecht University. His dissertation examines the influence of national institutions on the online labour market, especially via education systems and the distribution of skills. Jaap has a MSc in Sociology from Utrecht University, and his research interests extend beyond his dissertation into political sociology and economic sociology.
