Tanja Kromer
Tanja Kromer works since April 2016 as Officer for Skills Development at the Office for Personnel Development and Research Funding at the WZB.
She studied Psychology at Freie Universität Berlin, majoring in Occupational and Organizational Psychology, Professional Development and Business Administration, and first worked in the private sector as personnel consultant and manager. Later, and until March 2016, she worked in the department of personnel and organizational development at Forschungszentrum Jülich (Berlin office of Project Management Jülich), where she was in charge of designing and implementing a variety of personnel development measures.
She has certified further training as a systemic consultant (SG) and career coach (Artop). Since September 2023, she is a Mental Health First Aider (MHFA).
Tanja offers coaching at the WZB for PhD or scientists in their final stages of the doctorate who see their career prospects outside academia and want to plan their next steps.
