Teresa Völker
Teresa Völker is a doctoral researcher at the Center for Civil Society Research in a project on protest and radicalization. In her PhD she investigates the mainstreaming of the far right and the effects of Islamist and right-wing violence on public debates and public opinion. Methodologically, she combines quantitative and qualitative approaches (e.g. network analysis, text as data, content analysis,survey experiments).
Previously she has worked as a researcher and project manager at the Humboldt Institute for Internet and Society (HIIG) and graduated with a Master of Arts in Social Sciences from the Humboldt University and King’s College London. She completed her BA in Political Science, Sociology and Media and Communication at Heinrich-Heine University Düsseldorf and Università degli Studi di Milano.
