Organizational learning in the digital economy

This project investigates how connected technologies affect the knowledge and learning-processes of employees in German industrial companies. Theories about the sociology of labor will be used to understand these phenomena.
This qualitative study will use ethnographic methods to accompany the participants for an extended time period at their work.
The results shall provide insight into the learning processes in highly automated work settings. Regarding Good Work the aim is to develop recommendations on how these new technologies are best implemented for the employees.
