Dr. Nieves Fernández Rodríguez

Nieves Fernández Rodríguez is Assistant Professor and Coordinator of the Chair in Migration and Human Rights at Nebrija University in Madrid since 2025. She holds a PhD in Political Science from the Free University of Berlin (Nov. 2024). Her research specializes in migration policies in Latin America, with a focus on Colombia and Peru. She examines policymaking processes and the roles of various stakeholders involved in migration governance across the region. She is a guest researcher in the GG unit until the end of 2025.
